If you heed the advice of the acne experts, you will hear that to cure your acne, you must first modify your diet and change your hygiene habits. Then they tout their miracle acne cure that will produce fast results for your acne breakout. But the catch is that it is successful in “many cases”, but not all cases. Many people that try the remedy develop side effects or sometimes get allergic reactions. So it’s often better to try proven acne home remedies that work as well and have a higher than average success rate. They are almost always cheaper and never require a doctors prescription.
Here are a couple of home acne treatments that will get rid of your acne for good.So, let’s look at getting rid of acne using home treatments.

One popular acne home remedy is use a cotton swab dipped in alcohol and use this on your face. The alcohol will help clean the pores|hair follicles|skin pores|clogged pores|clogged hair follicles}, and wipes out all of the P-acnes causing the acne breakout. Be careful not to use too much alcohol because it can result in a bit of skin irritation.

If you are somebody who has oily skin, a good acne home treatment is to use an oatmeal mask. The way you use this mask is by applying an oatmeal and water mix for 15-20 minutes two times daily to get the best results. What happens is that the mask will dry up and absorb sebum from the skin. When you remove the mask, make sure to rinse your face with cold water.
Here's another acne home remedy that has been successful. It involves using honey and apples. This cure uses grated apple, blended together with 4 teaspoons of honey. This mixture will be the paste you apply to your face. Leave it on for about a quarter of an hour. When you're finished remove the potion and rinse the area with warm water. Repeat two or three times per week for optimal results.
